EVLTraining 2.4

Publisher Description

Recognition of endovenous thermal ablation (Endovenous laser treatment (EVLT, ELT) or Endovenous laser ablation (EVLA)) as a treatment for saphenous vein insufficiency brings a need for greater knowledge and understanding of the method. Linear endovenous energy density (LEED) is the most accepted variable for standardization and it has been covered in a growing number of publications. However, it should not exclusively be used for comparison of scientific results, it should also be used intraoperatively so that the procedure is conducted safely. This is a mobile app for measurement of LEED. The EVLTraining® software enables surgeons and staff to train the optical fiber pullback speed to be applied prior to surgery. *** New version has tracking lights. Follow the light speed with your fingers holding the optic fiber and be sure of the LEED you are applying. */* Endovenous laser treatment (EVLT, ELT) or Endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) is a minimally invasive ultrasound-guided technique used for treating varicose veins using laser energy commonly performed by a vascular surgeon. Endovenous laser treatment is a treatment for varicose veins in which an optical fiber is inserted into the vein to be treated, and laser light, normally in the infrared portion of the spectrum, is fired into the interior of the vein. This causes the vein to contract, and the optical fiber is slowly withdrawn. This apps trains the surgeon to deploy the right amount of energy in surgery, avoiding bruising, nerve injury, cellulitis and deep venous thrombosis. It calculates the linear endovenous energy dose (LEED), pull speed, distance, energy and everything necessary to do a good surgery. It may be used to calculate the LEED intraoperatively, althought not yet validated, it is a possible use. LEED is not informed on any laser device, but is the most useful method for reproducing surgical results. Visual signals are included; the de- vice is intended for practice (can be used live), with spa- tial and temporal dimensions, whereby the moving fiber is placed over the screen. This is a dedicated, unique phlebologic app and the only one displaying LEED, total energy, pullback rate (given as cm/sec), treatment length, and total time, all in real time and allowing corroboration of console calculations; select power, then monitor other parameters, which for the first version are continuous variables. It includes phlebology abstracts... Only the EVLTraining app measures treatment lengths. " More: https://software.amato.com.br/content/evltraining * Please ask any question you want before buying the app. Our site is https://software.amato.com.br/content/evltraining I prefer to answer as many questions as needed than have a bad comment by someone who hasn't understood the app utility. Remember I am a vascular surgeon, and the software was developed to meet my needs, that are other surgeons needs too.

Mar 20, 2017 Version 2.4 - Out of screen crash solved. Thanks for Dr Thien Quang Tra for pointing me this problem. - Saving report now not only saves that in app folder to be opened by iTunes, but now it also offer to export the data by many ways, including iCloud drive and email.
